About Mia:
 

I am a licensed home daycare provider who loves interacting with children daily. When I started caring for children in my neighborhood at 13 years old, I knew that this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I have the special gift of making children and parents feel completely at ease when I'm their care provider. Learning is fun, and I enjoy teaching little ones every day!

  • Virginia Quality Level II certified

  • Specialized in infant and toddler care

  • Currently a licensed home daycare provider in VA

  • Successful licensed home daycare provider in MD from 2014 to 2016​

  • Lead teacher at Willow Creek Academy in Gainesville, VA

  • Lead 3's teacher and assistant 2's teacher at  KinderCare from 2013 to 2014​

  • Substitute teacher/ one on one aid for a special needs student at Henry E. Lackey High School from 2012 to 2013

  • Assistant kindergarten teacher at the Goddard School in Waldorf MD from 2011 to 2012

  • Worked in the childcare field for the past 10 years
